Applying for Residency
The process for applicants is the same whether buying or leasing . . .
IF YOU DO NOT READ THESE ITEMS, YOUR APPLICATION PROCESSING WILL BE **VERY SLOW**:
- One application per person. Married? You'll need Two (2) applications.
- EVERY PERSON WHO WILL BE 18 OR OLDER AT TIME OF CLOSING MUST COMPLETE A SEPARATE APPLICATION. (Married couple and 1 adult child? Three (3) applications.
- DO NOT USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS. YOU WILL PAY ADDITIONAL FEES FOR DOING SO AND YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DELAYED BY OVER ONE (1) WEEK.
- APPLICATIONS ARE ***INCOMPLETE*** UNTIL THE INTERVIEW & ORIENTATION IS COMPLETED. (The Florida Statutory Timeline starts upon receipt of a COMPLETED application.)
- Items you will need to upload to the application: (A) Legible Government Issued Full-Color ID; and (B) A copy of your contract; and (C) Proof of Taxable Income (W-4, Paystub, 1099, Tax Return); and (D) Vehicle Registration, year, make and model; and (E) The name, phone number and email of your real estate agent; and (F) Payments are handled through Zelle. Information on how to make payment is on the application form.
- Applications that are completed have a maximum 30-day turn-around time unless they are for ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY MEMBERS. We confirm all Active Duty Military Statuses with the Department of Defense. ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY MEMBERS receive a response within seven (7) days of receipt of a completed application and completion of the interview & orientation.
